i havent had no problems. I was in dis 4 of LA, stole about 30 pressies w00t =D

Well, I see they still haven't learned there lessons from previous years...

The unclaimed gifts + the deaths that keep anyone from picking up even assigned gifts let alone the free ones means that 30 sec after this screen shot the entire district was kicked out and lost everything from there inventorys from the last 30min or so.

Something needed to be done last year, and nothing happened.

Something should be done this year, but nobody will be in GW next year so were SOL!

got rollback on mine (I had afked the event) since my cc shards were in my box instead of in inventory

its NOT the amount of gifts on the ground (see screenie 1 from the 2nd time---lots of afkers at 6am est)..but this last time was HORRIBLE....lost hat and gifts and INSANE lag (see screenie 2).....and we had only about 1/3 as many people in the district.

107,422 was the ping that did me in. Kicked me off after I had collected about 14 or so presents.

I just found it funny so I let the servers cool down a bit, logged back in and all my stuff was gone! no presents, no hat! I had my original amount of cc shards back in their starting position in my storage box.

I do hope that it's just a hiccup and I will get my hat and stuff. Otherwise I'm going to be a bit peeved for wasting a half hour for nothing.

Damn. That really really sucks...not only did I lose a bunch of crap/time but I now also have to run the risk of it happening the next time I try!

if this happens again I'm calling wintersday quits. The crazy lag was amusing but the novelty wears off quick when you lose everything you were there for.

Try putting away your mini pets. They weren't able to be out last year, so they clearly are having some effect.

I warped to my GH right after i got my hat, i crashed but i was wearing my hat.....soo maybe that will work for some people.

A bunch of us tried advising others to do that but nobody paid any attention, we just got called noobs and told to stfu. Luckily we didn't get kicked but the lag was still very bad.

I was wearing my hat when I lagged out and it was gone as well as the presents I had managed to pick up and the cc shards were back to the count I had before the event started (and hence when the lag started).

and I dont think it was the minis either since the first event I was at there were too many out to put out one....and we had no lag then either.
